Privacy Policy

Effective 6 September 2026 · Version 1.0
This policy explains what personal data SwiftHost collects when you visit swifthost.io, create an account, order a service, make a payment, or contact support — and what we do with it.

1. Who processes your data

SwiftHost, operating through swifthost.io, is responsible for the data described in this policy.

Contact: support@swifthost.io

2. What we collect

Account and contact data

Name, email address, and any other detail you enter when registering or updating your profile.

Order and billing data

Services ordered, invoices, payment status, amounts, currency, billing cycle, and the cryptocurrency wallet address or payment reference used for a transaction.

Technical and security data

IP address, login times, browser and device information, session identifiers, and server logs. We use this to operate the platform, investigate abuse, and defend against attack.

Communication data

Support tickets, emails, and any other correspondence relating to your account or services.

We do not store payment card numbers. Card and cryptocurrency payments are handled entirely within the payment processor's environment under that processor's own terms.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data to anyone. We share only what is necessary, and only with:

  • Infrastructure providers — the datacenter operators who supply the underlying hardware, where required to provision or support your service.
  • Payment processors — to process your payment and confirm it has settled.
  • Email delivery providers — to send the transactional messages you receive from us.
  • Competent authorities — where required by law, court order, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

5. International transfers

Our platform and the infrastructure we resell are located principally in the European Union, and in other countries where dedicated hardware is offered. By using the services you accept that your data is processed in those locations.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account and service data — for the duration of your account and up to two years after your last service ends, unless a longer period is required by law or by an unresolved dispute.
  • Invoices and financial records — for the period required by applicable law.
  • Support tickets — for as long as reasonably necessary to support you and to defend claims.
  • Security and access logs — typically up to twelve months, longer where an investigation requires it.

Data on your server is deleted permanently on termination, as described in the Terms of Service. That deletion is irreversible.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to operate the platform: session cookies that keep you logged in, and security cookies that protect against request forgery. These are required for the service to function and are not used for advertising or tracking.

We do not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party profiling on this site.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold, including encrypted connections, isolated application accounts, and restricted administrative access.

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and our liability in the event of any breach is limited as set out in the Terms of Service.

9. Your responsibilities

Data you place on your own server is under your sole control. Where that data includes personal information about other people, you are responsible for it and for compliance with any law applying to it. We do not access, inspect, or process the contents of client servers except where required to investigate abuse or comply with a legal order.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and to any conflicting legal obligation on us, you may request:

  • access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • correction of data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • deletion of your account and associated data;
  • a copy of the data you supplied, in a common machine-readable format.

Send any request to support@swifthost.io. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting, in order to protect your account.

Deleting your account does not remove records we are required to retain, such as invoices and financial records.

11. Children

Our services are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that we hold such data, we will delete it and close the account.

12. Changes

We may update this policy when our services, suppliers, or legal obligations change. The current version and its effective date are always published on this page. Continued use of the services after publication constitutes acceptance.

13. Contact

Questions about this policy, or any request relating to your data, should go to support@swifthost.io.
